exercising. not my thing.

I went to the gym! Aren't you proud? I ran on the treadmill, the step thingy, jumproped, stretched...etc. etc..

I've lost 2kg so far...It'll have been a week tomorrow. I need to crack down man. I need to lose more weight.

I'm going to cook adobo tomorrow. We have tests tomorrow, so we get out early. I need to buy ingredients.

My vibrato still sucks, but we are progressing.

The Goyang Philharmonic

Today I went to see the Goyang Philharmonic Orchestra with Anna. My hagwon teacher had two extra tickets, so she gave them to me :) They were great. All of the soloists were high school students! Minus this one CRAZY violinist...she's in 8th grade...I really enjoyed it.

After the concert, we saw these little girls dancing [dance hagwon?]. It was a pretty big event, with stage, lights, etc...These little girls were about 7~12 years old and they were dancing with scarves and stuff to really ....yeck... one of the songs was Pussycat Dolls' "When I Grow Up". Oh, children.

Food consumed: bibimbap, dwenjjangjigae, kimchi jigae, gyeran jjim, yogurt. AWESOME.

It was a pretty good day.

Punishment

On October 2, 2010 [Saturday], I, Kristin DeJesus, was punished by a Korean teacher. Yes, that's right...I was late today. I told my teacher that I was willing to recieve punishment, and I did. My teacher doesn't hit kids like most of the other teachers though. All we had to do was stay in a pushup position in between classes: 20min in total. It wasn't that bad...and I really feel like a Korean student now.

My alarm wasn't set. It's a Sat, and my alarm was set for Mon-Fri...so no alarm went off. DANGGIT! It's ok though.

I'm going to see an orchestra concert with Anna today~ One of the piano teachers at my hagwon gave me tickets for free.

Must. Study.
